but the sword is a bit bigger, 36 inches was the wood length just to be clear. Pretty much the blade itself now adding the handle size.

side width would be half and inch, then i used 1/4'' for the handle part. so a total approx. 2 inch since i sand some down.
widthi used around 4", i would go for 5-6 inches, the part where you see the rubber band(right side spike) is actually a piece of wood glued together and sand down since it stick out so much, hope that helped.

length is 36 inch.

See, I wish I could make mine out of wood, but I'm not a wood worker. xD Brevetting I'm using right now it also in my budget. d: Yours looks great, too though. :D

Thank You Very Much ^_^ But it's Balsa Wood. All i did was use an Xacto Knife, Ruler, Makers. Balsa Wood is incredibly cheap, light, and strong. I have paper clay to use for the parts i mess up. I'll upload more pictures later. Didn't want to upload til it was finish, but your picture inspired me to xD.
P.S. Balsa Wood. you can snap it easy and sand it down so good. It's use a lot on Model Airplanes for hobbyist. Thanks again for the reply =u=

Oh, wow. I never knew that... I might have to try that sometimes.
I think that's going to be the last I upload any pictures until I get it all fiber glassed, and then I'll post pictures of the finished products.

Not sure if you have a Michaels Craft Store. But that's where i found out about Balsa Wood. I used it to make my Hirano's Nail Gun Prop and a Izaya's Switch Blade. You should go in the store and see what it feels like and see how light it is. It's pricey at the store. So i bought a bunch online for 30 dollars. Enough to make Kirito's 2nd Sword Dark Repulser. And two Sheaths for the two. ^_^ Hope that helps.
